Today I receive the email from Mr. Ken Brown CEO of Adgitize.com informing me that my advertisement will expire in five days from now. Actually I decided to become an advertiser from being a publisher because of a sudden change on my stat. The reason behind it is changing a domain after a long time of using blogspot sub-domain, I decided to buy my own domain since I already earn in blogging but never thought that it will dropped my Page Rank and Alexa Rank on web.
Though I still not gain my Page Rank the adgitize help me increase my rank on Alexa from 23 millionth place to 400k rank in just a month, but now I still can't decide if I should continue to advertise on them or not?
The ad cost is $14 a month and within a grace period of 20 days after the first purchase ad your 2nd ad cost $8 only, saves $6 for another advertisement. Actually I can also recovered what I invested, all I have to do is to post everyday, click ads of 51 blogs, and post 10 ads in each of my blog wherein I have 3 blogs and alternately I updated each one of my blogs just to get my article points of 100. Doing all this everyday gives me back $0.50 to $0.80 everyday.
What I hate about it, I got a pressure to post something everyday, actually I seldom update my blog on the past but after some vacation on blogging and became active again, I then decided to become active and learn how adgi really works, until I became an advertiser. And now can't decide whether should I continue this or not?

ReplyDeleteI personally do not like adgitize. It taked up too much of your time better spent on actually writing great articles and doing other things.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that you can earn back your investment easy. But also take into consideration the tangible costs such as time spent, etc. :)
It all boils down to what you want to do though. But don't forget to weigh your options.
My blog also lost its PR when I bought a domain name for it. But the PR was restored the next time Google updated. I was not advertising then in Adgitize. I hope you get yours back.
ReplyDeleteNow, I advertise Adgi because I earn back the money for it through the Adgi system anyway. In a way, I also like the fact that it forces me to make a post a day. Updating your blogs is good after all. On the other hand, I am not so glad about Adgi when I'm pressured for time on other things.
It's good that I came across this post. I've been wondering for some time if having Adgitize on my site is going to do me any good. But based on the facts you've presented above, it might not actually. Aside from blogging, I have a full-time job. And updating my blog EVERYDAY is something I might not be able to sustain. I can only do 2-3 posts per week. More, if I have more off days within the week.

Surely it's your decision but my opinion is that it's not worth it. Posting everyday will lead to you posting uninteresting things no one will read.

ReplyDeletegood thing i do not adgitize .it takes a lot of work everyday just to get paid .visiting 51 blogs a day is not worth it. i am too lazy to make a daily post and visit others.

ReplyDeleteAdgitize is closing so your concern is moot and academic. I use to be an active advertiser in the network and I never lost a single cent in using Adgitize to gain traffic for my blog.
ReplyDeleteI quit advertising in the network when its admin did not consider my suggestion to find ways to show the traffic to my blog to be coming from the site where my ad image was clicked instead of having them registered in traffic monitors as all coming from Adgitize URL. There's a big difference in the two statistics as far as the search engines are concerned.
Anyway, time to look for a new blog advertising network that could make us gain traffic and possibly earn something.
