How to Put Watermark using Picasa

I love using Picasa as a photo editor because it is free to download and can be use to store your photos too on its web. Though I never use that feature cause I am more on the editing side of the software as using it in water marking in my pictures.

I usually put water marks on personal pictures of mine fearing that someone will use it for other intentions. And so let me share you on how I put water mark using Picasa which can be downloaded free here.

How to use Picasa for watermarking on your photos:
1. Open a picture in Picasa.
2. Click on "ABC Text" icon, shown below:

3. Make the color of letters be white, and lessen its transparency according to you, you can also adjust the font size and style.

4. Click "Apply" to save changes and export to your folder, you can also re-size the picture while exporting.

  3. Before i used to add watermark on my photos but now i uploaded copyright plug in so no one will copy my photos. But i will try picasa next time looks like its easy to use. Thank for sharing =)

  9. Very helpful tutorial. I'm using PS watermark so it's kinda easy to put watermarks on my photos, it's just a single click and bulk editor.

  14. It is very important that you put a watermark on your photos. Especially there are the website owners who doesn't even give credits to the photographers or photo owners.

  15. Since I don't know anything about Adobe Photoshop, I usually use Picasa in editing my pictures. And yes, my watermarks too.. THanks for sharing anyway.. :)

  16. I was using picasa before to watermark my photos that I share on the web but then I found photoscape and light image resizer to do batch jobs for multitude of photos. Faster to do embediing watermarks and resizing them for the web for faster upload.
