Place cleansing

Have you ever thought why some place or business does not prosper even if the place has been offering a good service. Well I do, though I always think of it in a positive way that maybe some clients are just resting or just postponing to go to that place because of a sudden trip somewhere or meetings with others. Ive been thinking it that maybe because of negative vibes that surrounds on that place and repel some positive to come by.

Summer tragic

While eating my dinner last night my brother told a bad news to us. That the very prominent resort here in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija had their swimmer died on the pool, it was a heartbreaking news because the person that died that day is just as young as my son is, which is seven years old only, he then added that if we planed to go there, we should be careful, guard and watch our children while they play on water, it doesn't matter if we don't enjoyed it as long as we make sure that the childrens are safe while enjoying pool. My appetite that night have lost thinking how does that happen. My brother also told that the child is still in the below of water before someone step on it and noticed that it was a boy on the bottom of the pool.

The next day I've told it to my cousin which is my good foreman of my ongoing construction of the house, I told him to be very careful when they have gone swimming and really watch the children, cause I know that in their compound there is a  lot of children and they didn't miss summer without going to the beach or resort. I was surprise that the time that the young boy died on that resort, their whole family are also there and witnessed the scene while trying to survive the boy. They also conclude that the boy survive and live because they saw a boy with the same shirt and short that the drowned boy wearing were walking again on the side of the pool and looking over the water pool and leave the place. But then someone told that the boy doesn't survive, the pulse of it was gone, and it was declared dead already. And they feel goosebumps thinking who is the boy that they saw and walk along the side of the pool.

My cousin told me that maybe while constructing the whole place they never offered a live blood on that site to prevent a future bad-luck on the place, because that was the third year that the resort takes life and it has been believe that it will go on every year from now and then. I almost laughed at it but my cousin's face is so serious that I respect his belief and became also serious as he is. My cousin has been on the construction eversince he graduated in highschool and he learned his skill as the years go by. And every construction that his team make they pour blood on the foundations, small or big project it never missed to practice this way, he also added that one time the owner ignore this belief one of the sub-contractor of the steel for the roof framing have slipped and pierced by their own steel and died on that project. And so after that incident they insist it from the owner of what they construct for to pour and offered some bloods on the site to prevent some lives to be taken in present or in the future.

The boy that drowned that day wasn't with his parent, they only knew that the boy is with his cousins and some neighbors only. That resort doesn't have a train lifeguard to watch over and to put some first aid if accidents happens even if it is always full pack during summer. So we decide not to go to that resort this year. And I prayed that the boy may find his rest in peace and a prayers also that it wont continue to takes life.

Construction superstition.

I graduated as a Civil Engineer known to be a responsible in constructing roads, bridges, buildings and houses. And here in the Philippines a superstition is a part of our culture that believes also practicing by our early generation, superstition are strictly followed by builders. I only knew one because superstition of course doesn't discuss mostly by my professor during my college years, and that is "don't mixed cement inside a renovating house or one of the members of that home will die soon". Creepy, that's why every one followed than sorry.

But during my construction of my own house I still learn that there is also a lot of superstition that I only knew at that moment. One of them is to pour blood came from a live animal in every post of your house, believes that these can make the structure more stronger. There is also belief that the owner should throw coins in every footing of the house making the owner shouldn't struggling in their home finances. A belief also to put first a lugaw (cooked rice in mush) full of chicken in the perimeter of wall footing. The stairs also had only a number of steps by repeating oro, mata, plata and shouldn't be falls in mata which means bad luck. Each doors of the house shouldn't facing straight to each other, one should move a little so that they are not. The main entrance door should be in the direction of the rising sun.

As for me because I am also obsessed by Feng Shui I also followed its lucky number and prevent the number of bad luck. My house plan had a 13 columns in it's original plan but I decided to disregard one to make it 12 during the construction.

This superstition is only my personal choice you could or any builders don't followed it, but for me there is nothing to lose if we followed it, as I've said before it is better to follow than sorry. But most important above it all is your faith and being positive about it while building your home.

From black head to cystic pimp

I've never learned my lesson, not to pop out my black head or white head out of my pore. Today I went to see a doctor just to check my pimple that I tried to pop out but unfortunately it didn't so the result charaan cystic pimple (ouch).
