Closing of Adgitize

Yesterday I receive another email from Mr. Ken, expressing the closing of their service. It sad that it is just a month that I've learned about it and enjoy the traffic that it gives on my blogs. And my friends are right I don't need now to decide if I should continue the ads on them or not because it'll be close anyway in January 2012.

Thanks Adgitize for introducing me to some friends and blogosphere, thanks also for the publisher there that spent time and comment on my blog. And to Mr. Ken the owner of Adgitize.com thank you for answering my queries as soon as you read it, I am glad to have a business with you and hope the best for you and your staff.

Adgitize: Should I Continue It?

Today I receive the email from Mr. Ken Brown CEO of Adgitize.com informing me that my advertisement will expire in five days from now. Actually I decided to become an advertiser from being a publisher because of a sudden change on my stat. The reason behind it is changing a domain after a long time of using blogspot sub-domain, I decided to buy my own domain since I already earn in blogging but never thought that it will dropped my Page Rank and Alexa Rank on web.

Though I still not gain my Page Rank the adgitize help me increase my rank on Alexa from 23 millionth place to 400k rank in just a month, but now I still can't decide if I should continue to advertise on them or not? 

The ad cost is $14 a month and within a grace period of 20 days after the first purchase ad your 2nd ad cost $8 only, saves $6 for another advertisement. Actually I can also recovered what I invested, all I have to do is to post everyday, click ads of 51 blogs, and post 10 ads in each of my blog wherein I have 3 blogs and alternately I updated each one of my blogs just to get my article points of 100. Doing all this everyday gives me back $0.50 to $0.80 everyday. 

What I hate about it, I got a pressure to post something everyday, actually I seldom update my blog on the past but after some vacation on blogging and became active again, I then decided to become active and learn how adgi really works, until I became an advertiser. And now can't decide whether should I continue this or not?

Few Hours to Go and It's Christmas!

Today, I know that most of us are busy as a bee preparing for the feast this Noche Buena (Christmas Eve) which we will be celebrating it after a few hours from now. But I am here in front of my laptop and still browsing and blog-hopping; while mom is cooking and busy in the kitchen. I don't know what's got into my mind but I became generous today, that I commented on all of the blogs that I visited, maybe I enjoy to read it also, because everyone now is talking about this great season.

An Open Letter to PRC in Qatar

Dear PRC,

I hope that this blog post may reach you and haunt you in conscience. My husband took an exam in Civil Engineering recently, he is one of the unfortunate that did not pass the exam. Surprisingly, only one examinee  has passed the exam out of 152 takers. 

He took the risk of taking the exam in Qatar even though it will means a whole month salary to pay on the review center, a month of no budget and no allowance too.  My husband also experience a restless work due to persistent review every night after work causing him to sleep in less time. I can see that he loss his weight due to this exam, he really wanted to pass the exam but it looks as if your exam don't want anyone to pass it.

I don't want to bragged his knowledge to you but I know my husband's capacity and even his classmates in review center thought that he can pass the exam, it seems everyone assuming it. But how can anyone pass a licensure examination having a 100 problems in every subject in Civil engineering for a shorter of 300 minutes (3minutes per problem not including the shading of answer sheet). 

How come in the Philippines the Civil Engineering Licensure examination was composed of only 30 problems per subject while in Qatar 100 problems, are you loosing your mind. I am sorry for my sharp words because congratulations you have been stolen some opportunities that will give to our fellow OFW as what we all called "hero of the nations". 

Thank you also for making my husband frustrated that he lost all of his interest in taking the exam in Qatar, thank you for pulling down all hopes and dreams of those who take the exam. 


We need an explanation on the part of PRC because it was a unprofessional to change the system without informing the examinee.

How to Put Watermark using Picasa

I love using Picasa as a photo editor because it is free to download and can be use to store your photos too on its web. Though I never use that feature cause I am more on the editing side of the software as using it in water marking in my pictures.

I usually put water marks on personal pictures of mine fearing that someone will use it for other intentions. And so let me share you on how I put water mark using Picasa which can be downloaded free here.

How to use Picasa for watermarking on your photos:
1. Open a picture in Picasa.
2. Click on "ABC Text" icon, shown below:

3. Make the color of letters be white, and lessen its transparency according to you, you can also adjust the font size and style.

4. Click "Apply" to save changes and export to your folder, you can also re-size the picture while exporting.

How to Switch the Position of Your Blog and Post Title

I am not really an expert in SEO thing, but many would says that changing the position of your blog title over your post title (blog post in a day) will have a great impact on the search engine. Especially if you have a very long blog title.

Take note also that Google truncate only up to 50 characters of the blog title and post including spaces. So if you had a very long blog title plus the title post it may only eats up the blog title to be search and all your post title will be left behind in the search engine. So it is important that you switch the position of it.

This is only for blogger platform as I have no idea about the WP. Go to your layout in blogger and edit HTML. Control F (to find) and look for this
<title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title> 

and just replace it with this code:
