Last year the hashtag
#Amalayer have been trending not only here in the Philippines but in worldwide.
Paula Jamie salvosa the person who started it all when she berating a female
security guard in a local train transit and gain an online flak about it. Although
she already announced her public apology and admit that she made a mistake, the
word “Amalayer” which really means “I’m a liar” have been added to pinoy’s quote and saying. Her video also made some parody by different nation and
version in youtube, and has also made a single by a duo with exact word that
she say on her scandal video. The original video of Paula Jamie Salvosa when one of the passenger took the video of her while arguing hysterically.
(In this video they used the exact words that Paula Jamie used while arguing in the female guard)
Now Amalayer Paula is featured in
another viral video which rides on the global popularity of pop hit 'Gangnam Style'
to highlight Pinoy pride of Mike Bustos Vlogger called “Opo Pinoy Style”. Although
she only had little appearance on the vid I wonder if what will this affect to
other filipino youth, because let us admit she have been stepping a little fame
in the media and I’m afraid that some youth will follow her footstep degrating and
ridicule a person just to get attention and fame, although I am not saying that
Paula did that in purpose just to get attention. What do you think?
The video of Opo Pinoy Style (Filipino Oppa Gangnam Style Parody) made by Mikey Bustos
Paula Jamie is not a good example to all the youth but I had fun watching "Opo Pinoy Style" lol, kakaentertain!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww. The vid is so cute. I was LMAO the whole time.
